Before & After Care

While attending Hope Aglow Christian Academy’s Before & After school program, students are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that promote life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, creative expression, leadership, and sportsmanship. A very important component of our program is homework support, in which time and a quiet environment is available to help students with their school work every day.
Our many hands-on projects keep the children involved and interested in learning. Each day provides time for creative expression, science, technology, indoor/outdoor recreational games, dramatic play, building and construction, and appreciation of diversity. We emphasize the concepts of being safe and being respectful.
Full Day care options on teacher work days, inclement weather days and Spring and Summer breaks are offered. We transport the children to and from several elementary schools, including Belmont, Elizabeth Vaughan, Kilby, and Occoquan. All of our Academy vehicles conform to all state and federal requirements.
